National Reciprocity, Sign The Petition

Pennsylvania firearm owners, please sign the petition to support National reciprocity.

The bill (here) says:

  • Any state that allows concealed carry must recognize all others that also allow it, without limitation
  • States that do not allow concealed carry are not forced to

PA has 18 congressional districts and 2 senators. Our goal is to get 20 “Yea” votes. Will we get Casey and the other far left democrats? Probably not. But we need to make it painful for them to vote ‘no’. We think we can get 5000 petitions signed. Since the system faxes the congressman and 2 senators for each signer, that’s 15000 faxes. If any one lawmaker refuses to vote yes, we put out the call to the 5000 signers to converge on his office. If 15% show up, we have a major news event.

Time To Start Work On Reciprocity

Pennsylvanians For Self Protection welcomes President Donald J. Trump. We certainly understand the amount of work ahead, dismantling the obstacles and roadblocks put in place by prior administrations. We ask that within the next few months, you begin to put pressure on Congress to pass a National Reciprocity bill. HB 38 is simple, straight forward, and well done. Please tell leadership to get it moving.

Call to Action – Allentown Firearms Ordinance

This is a call to action to all those who can attend a meeting in Allentown – City Council chambers on Wednesday Aug 17th at 5:30 PM. The location is 435 Hamilton St, Allentown, PA 18101 (map here…).

This is a Public Safety Committee meeting to vote on referring a firearms “lost/stolen” bill to the full council. If it goes to full council, and if the council subsequently passes it, it would then go to the mayor for signature which he no doubt would.

We have an opportunity to stop it now.

I will attend and read a prepared statement. I will tell the committee to stop bullying lawful gun owners. I’ll have small paper signs that everyone can then hold up. (stop bullying us)

We need at least 20 people to show up. It would be nice to fill the room.

If you have questions, message or email me. But please come out on 8/17 at 5:30 PM to show our strength of numbers. Ask all of your 2A friends to come too.

Protest Write-In 2A, Toomey Announcement Press Release

Protest Write-In 2A
Toomey Announcement Press Release

Pennsylvanians For Self-Protection (PA4SP) a non-partisan, non-profit gun rights
advocate based in the Southeast yesterday recommended it’s members to write-in “2A”
for 2nd Amendment when voting in the Republican U.S. Senate Primary. The write-in
vote is a protest for Senator Pat Toomey’s strong support for gun control legislation. As
Toomey is running unopposed in the Primary Election, the write-in vote is symbolic and
a message to Toomey. PA4SP cites Toomey’s campaign ad where he is endorsed by a
board member of the anti-gun group CeasefirePA as the final straw. In the past,
CeasefirePA has called for laws that would restrict the rights to own and purchase
firearms placing them at the mercy of criminal predators.

“Pat Toomey has consistently sided with the gun grabbers. He wants to do something
about mass shootings in this country, we all do, but making it harder for law abiding
people to protect themselves with legal firearms isn’t the way. We need to send him a
message to remind him that the 2nd Amendment is a right.” said Dave Sager, President
of PA4SP.

Toomey is the co-sponsor of the infamous Toomey-Manchin Gun Bill introduced after
the Newtown Shooting in 2012. Critics slammed the bill as bad legislation, doing nothing
to stop mass shootings and creating more problems than solving.

“Pat Toomey can’t point to a single mass shooting that would have been stopped by
Toomey-Manchin. It’s bad legislation and we don’t need more laws for the sake of laws.
We need to enforce current federal gun laws that provide strict penalties for guns used
in crime.” offered Carlo Grilletto PA4SP’s Vice President.

Pat Toomey has betrayed legal gun owners. It is important for legal gun owners to let
him know it.
